Secret Invasion Gravik Actor Wants To Work With Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk

Secret Invasion star Kingsley Ben-Adir wants to work with Mark Ruffalo in the future. Secret Invasion is primed to tie in a number of MCU stars, with Everett Ross, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Talos, and James “Rhodey” Rhodes already teased. However, the possibility of showing the Skrull face off against one of the few remaining Avengers could be exciting.

In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant for Secret Invasion, Ben-Adir was asked which MCU character he wants to interact with in the future. He was quick to name Ruffalo as his pick, not specifically because of his character but more as an actor. If it were to happen, this could set up an interesting showdown between the Skrull and the Hulk. Check out Ben-Adir’s full quote below:

Kingsley Ben-Adir: Just on a selfish actor level, I guess maybe Mark Ruffalo. He’s great. I’d love to work with him.

Could The Secret Invasion Antagonist Have A Larger Role To Play In The MCU?

Gravik Super-Skrull Tease in Secret Invasion

If Gravik survives Secret Invasion, he could have a larger role to play in the MCU. The trailer and Ben-Adir himself have teased Gravik potentially becoming the Super-Skrull, who in the comics proves to be an extremely powerful foe. Secret Invasion could show Fury defeating the Skrull invasion but not necessarily killing Gravik. This could set up a potential return for the antagonist, who would likely be even more resentful and full of rage.

This could make Gravik, as the Super-Skrull, a long-term problem for Fury and the heroes of the MCU. In the comics, the Super-Skrull fights against the Fantastic Four, who will be introduced into the MCU soon. The Super-Skrull could be a villain that the remaining Avengers, like The Hulk, attempt to defeat but are unable to. This could set up the introduction of the Fantastic Four as the final hope of defeating the Super-Skrull.

Ruffalo won’t be appearing in Secret Invasion. However, if Marvel decides to spare Gravik in Secret Invasion, a showdown between him and the Hulk could be set up for the future. Gravik as a Skrull is a dangerous enemy, but potentially adding in the powers of the Super-Skrull makes him an exciting villain that could prove to be a major threat to the MCU as a whole.
