The king of Bravo, Andy Cohen, recently hinted via Us Weekly that he could, “imagine” Teresa or Melissa leaving the franchise. The comment could be a clue that Bravo may be thinking of casting a new and younger group of Jersey women. That’s what producers did with The Real Housewives of New York City reboot.

Everyone’s feuded on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. This time around, it was Margaret against Teresa, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, and of course, Teresa versus Melissa. The fights are what make Jersey, well, Jersey, since the women are overly passionate about their issues. The two newest members, Danielle and Rachel, were actually a breath of fresh air. Although they bickered, they got over it. They even joked that they were in high school when Melissa and Teresa first started their fight.

Bravo didn’t dare touch the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey for five seasons because it was so perfect. A possible cast shakeup could hurt the franchise, as it would take at least a year to recast. The fact that the network downgraded Jackie Goldschneider was a bit much for some. This time-lapse could result in lower ratings. These particular women have been hashing it out, so a new group might not bring the same flair. However, this may be a risk that Bravo higher-ups decide to take.
